A new photovoltaic installation at VitaPlant
Last month Zeller took another important step in its ongoing commitment to improving its eco-balance. On 23rd March 2017 Zeller’s second photovoltaic installation started producing electricity at VitaPlant in Uttwil.

Zeller’s first photovoltaic installation – located on the roof of the laboratory building in Romanshorn – became operational in September 2015. In 2016 it delivered 24.410 kWh of electricity. The photovoltaic installation at VitaPlant is the same size and will deliver a similar output.
With each kWh electricity producing only 150g CO2, Zeller will reduce emissions by approximately 3.6 tonnes CO2 per installation per year!
